It also happen last week with a power cut to the road and when the power came back on the fuse blew. My setup is a ring pro powered directly by a 24v 40va transformer that is also wired into a house intercom. If you ever need to remove your doorbell wires from the pro power kit press down on the lever on the rear to open the terminal clamps and pull the wires straight out. Anybody else regularly blowing the fuse in their pro power cable.

I m in a similar situation as you i m installing a ring doorbell pro and have a transformer installed but presumably need to add the pro power kit in series to help provide sufficient power to the ring it s powered now but not presenting a wap during setup. Need to buy a new one.
